All members of the
Van Dyne Sportsmens Club are required to read the club safety rules.

Shooting is allowed
only on the days and hours set by the club.

No shooting is
allowed before 8:00 am or after sunset at the rifle/pistol range.

No alcohol is allowed
on any firing lines at any time. This rule applies to practice and scheduled
events.

No illegal firearms
will be allowed on the club grounds.

Non-participants are
NOT allowed on the firing lines at any time.

Action on all
firearms shall be open until you are in the firing position. Firearms shall
be pointed in a safe direction at all times.

Each member and guest
using the facility during off hours are required to sign in and out on the log book
in the range house.

Members are
allowed one guest at a time and specifically not the same guest over and
over. Out of town guests excluded. Members will be responsible for guests
conduct.

Shooting is allowed
only from the designated positions on the firing line and only at the berm
directly in front of that position.
-
No full automatic
weapons are allowed on the club grounds.
-
Military ammunition
and non expanding full metal jacketed rifle bullets are not allowed on club
grounds.
-
Only paper targets
are allowed on the rifle range. Targets must be hung within the target
frames.
-
Only clay targets
thrown from the trap or skeet machines will be used when shooting trap or
skeet.
-
Shotguns only are
allowed on the trap or skeet range with target loads of size 71/2 shot or
smaller.
-
No rapid firing.
There must be a 5 second interval between all shots fired, rifle or pistol.

All handguns must be
shot from eye level. NO TRICK SHOOTING WILL BE TOLERATED.

Do not go downrange
until the alarm is turned on, when turned on or a cease fire command is given all shooting must cease, actions
opened, and move away from firearms and benches.

A current membership
card must be carried with you and displayed upon request by any member
when using club facilities.

Any violation of
these club rules may result in suspension of your membership. Any reckless
use of firearms may result in criminal prosecution as a felony under Wis.
Statutes
