Club Rifle Championship

Saturday September 11, 2010 -  Sign-In 8:00 to 9:00 AM

 

Overview

1.      Rifles shall be fired from benches with a rest of your choice. Bipods that attach to rifle are allowed.  Adjustable pedestals with sandbags under forearm and one piece cradles are allowed. Blocks, boxes, or such to raise sandbags to get proper elevation are permitted.

2.      Check class rules for sight restrictions – Variable scopes must be set and taped.

3.      Rifle, scope and bipod not to exceed weight limits in each class. 

4.      Each course of fire must be completed in 15 minutes. 

5.      Wind flags not allowed.

6.      Entry fees for each class is $6 with a 50% payout to each class winner and runner up split 60/40.

7.      Club Champion will be based on aggregate score of 3 classes with 2 or more participants.

8.      Scoring will be 10 points for 10 ring, 9 for 9 ring etc., With the exception of the Lead Launcher and Centerfire Classes where a 10 ring will score 20 points, etc.  A perfect score in any class would be 100 with 10X.  Ties will be broken with a shoot off.

 

Classes

 

Lead Launchers - Any shotgun or muzzleloader, No Weight Restrictions, scopes limited to 2X, 5 shots from 50 yards at the 200 yard NBRSA HBR Target

 Rimfire Sporter - 22LR and 17m2, Weight Under 7.5 lbs., Scopes limited to 12X, 10 shots from 50 yards at the 100 yard NBRSA HBR Target 

Rimfire Target - 22LR and 17m2, No Weight Restrictions, any sights, 10 shots from 50 yards at the 10  bull Target (USBR size bull)

 Rimfire Open - Any Rimfire, No Weight Restrictions, any sights, 10 shots from 100 yards at the 200 yard NBRSA HBR Target 

 Centerfire Sporter - Any centerfire caliber, Weight Under 8.5 lbs., Muzzle diameter less than .750, Scopes limited to 12X, 5 shots from 100 yards at the 100 yard NBRSA HBR Target 

Centerfire Open - Any centerfire caliber, no weight restrictions, no sight restrictions, 5 shots from 100 yards at the 100 yard NBRSA HBR Target
